1. Who we are and what this covers
Smyle Events LLC (“Smylefest,” “we,” “our”) administers the Smylefest 2026 Golden Ticket Giveaway.
This policy describes personal information collected on Smylefest-controlled giveaway pages, from
QR-code interactions and forms, through prize verification, and in related communications. Contact us at

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with the Giveaway, we may collect:
• Contact and eligibility details: email address; name if needed for claims; an age-eligibility confirmation;
and, for a major prize, information necessary to verify identity and original-flyer possession.
• Flyer and prize data: unique QR-code identifier, assigned result, scan time, discount and Posh
redemption status, claim history and anti-fraud signals.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser/device type, approximate location derived from IP,
page URLs, timestamps, cookies or similar identifiers, and site interaction records collected by our
hosting/security/analytics vendors.
• Communications and choices: messages you send to us, marketing consent or refusal, unsubscribe
requests, and transactional-email delivery logs.
• Ticketing information: where appropriate, Posh may provide us information about orders or attendance
necessary to administer the event or fulfill a prize.
You are not required to supply payment-card data to check a flyer or claim a free-ticket prize. Any
separate paid purchase through Posh is handled under Posh’s own policies and checkout procedures.

3. How we use the information
• Check QR-code authenticity and disclose whether a flyer carries Gold, Silver, Bronze, or the regular
discount offer.
• Deliver single-use discount codes, contact possible winners, verify eligibility and original-flyer
possession, and fulfill complimentary tickets.
• Enforce the one-flyer-per-person policy; investigate duplicate, counterfeit, or unauthorized claims;
maintain promotion records; and provide customer support.
• Operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot and analyze the site and promotional technology.
• Send Smylefest, Smyle products, and future-event marketing communications only when you separately
choose to subscribe, subject to applicable law.

• Comply with lawful requirements and respond to permitted legal requests.

4. Transactional email versus optional marketing
We may request a valid email address so you can receive a discount code, a potential winning
notification, a redemption instruction, or customer-service correspondence. These transactional
communications relate to the Giveaway. They do not, by themselves, enroll you in general marketing.
A separate, unchecked marketing checkbox should allow you to choose whether you receive future
promotional emails. Declining marketing does not affect your odds, eligibility, or the award of a
legitimate major prize. Marketing messages will include an unsubscribe method. To opt out, use that
method or write to macy@dontforgettosmyle.com. Some non-marketing emails relating to an active
order or claim may still be sent.

5. Information shared with service providers and others
We may share information needed for the Giveaway with website and QR-code hosting providers,
security/anti-fraud services, email delivery and CRM providers, analytics providers, Posh for redemption,
the event venue as needed to admit prize guests, and legal or professional advisers. We may also
disclose information when reasonably necessary to follow law, prevent fraud, or protect legal rights.
We do not sell the Giveaway email list to participating physical retailers for their independent marketing.
Retail locations supplying flyers do not automatically receive the submitted contact list. Our vendors may
have their own privacy practices, and any data disclosed to independent platforms is subject to their
applicable terms.

6. Posh is a separate ticketing service
When a user follows a link to Posh to purchase or redeem event tickets, the user leaves the
Smylefest-controlled giveaway experience and interacts with Posh Group, Inc. Posh may separately
collect contact, account, order, usage, cookie and device data. Posh states that its advertising partners
may collect information across websites or services to provide interest-based advertising. Posh may
share event registration details with event organizers, including Smylefest. Read Posh’s Privacy Policy
before completing a ticket transaction.

7. Cookies, cross-site tracking, Do Not Track and GPC
Smylefest-operated pages. Our giveaway pages and their infrastructure may use essential cookies or
related identifiers for functionality, unique-code management, site security, fraud prevention,
performance and aggregate traffic analysis. Depending on the third-party tools that the site operator
enables, analytics, advertising, embedded-media, or social-media providers may also collect activity on
Smylefest pages and combine it with information from other sites or services.
Browser Do Not Track (DNT). Smylefest does not change the operation of its giveaway pages solely
because a browser transmits the legacy DNT signal. This does not override applicable opt-out rights. Posh
separately states that its service does not respond to DNT signals.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other opt-out preference signals. When California law requires
recognition of a supported opt-out preference signal for applicable sales or cross-context behavioral
advertising, Smylefest will honor it for activities under our control. Posh states that it recognizes GPC as
an opt-out request for applicable targeted-advertising sharing/sales on its services. Posh’s mechanisms,
not Smylefest’s, govern activity on Posh.

Third-party tracking can be limited through available cookie preferences, applicable provider settings,
recognized privacy signals, and your browser settings. For questions about tools running on Smylefest

8. Information retention and security
We keep promotion records only as long as reasonably needed to operate and audit the Giveaway,
prevent fraud, comply with legal or accounting obligations, or resolve a dispute. We retain marketing
contact data until an individual unsubscribes or requests deletion, except to keep limited suppression
records or comply with law. The exact time may vary by record category and vendor. We use reasonable
safeguards appropriate to the information; no website or network can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and California privacy rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask questions about
our practices, by emailing macy@dontforgettosmyle.com. We may need to verify a request, and law may
allow some information to be retained. If the California Consumer Privacy Act or another law applies to
our processing, we will also honor the rights and limitations required by that law, including applicable
rights to opt out of sale/sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising and to limit certain
sensitive-information uses. We do not discriminate against individuals for exercising applicable privacy
rights.

10. Age and eligibility
The Giveaway is intended for eligible individuals aged 21 or older. We do not knowingly solicit
participation from persons under 21, and may delete information collected from an ineligible minor
subject to legal recordkeeping obligations. Event admission requires compliance with venue ID and age
restrictions.

11. Policy updates
We may revise this policy if our practices, third-party services, or the law change. The current version
and effective date will be posted at https://smylefest.com/smylefest-giveaway/. We will provide further
notice when required by applicable law.
